DHX Media has scored a series of sales for Rastamouse, the new CBeebies-commissioned stop-motion preschool series.

In Australia, ABC TV has acquired broadcast rights with ABC Commercial snapping up home video rights to all 52 x 11-minute episodes

Canal+ (MiniMini), meanwhile, has acquired TV rights in Poland and HOP! has picked up all available episodes for Israel.

DHX Media represents worldwide television rights (excluding UK) and worldwide L&M rights to the property, which will launch in the UK on CBeebies in the first quarter of next year.

Produced by Three Stones Media with Dinamo Productions and Little Roots, the series follows the main characters Rastamouse, Scratchy and Zoomer, who make up a crime-fighting, mystery-solving reggae band.
