HarperCollins Children’s Books has snapped up the UK and Commonwealth rights to Earwig and the Witch, the latest book from Diana Wynne Jones.
Aimed at readers ages five to eight, the book follows Earwig, who was left at St. Morwald’s Orphanage as a baby. She is eventually chosen to live with a witch, and in order to survive she needs to muster up all the ingenuity she can get. The book will first hit retail as a hardback in June 2011.
