Teletoon Canada is introducing a new lineup of action programming for its Sunday morning Action Force block, while competing kidnet YTV is adding a movie block.
Generator Rex (20 x half hours), a new show from the creators of Ben 10, Transformers Prime (26 x half hours ) and G.I. Joe Renegades (26 x half hours) – both reboots of classic 1980s series – will air starting January 9 on Teletoon.
The three new shows join the Sunday lineup along with the season two premieres of The Super Hero Squad Show and Hot Wheels: Battle Force 5.
Sundays will also be seeing new content over on Corus-owned YTV, which is launching new movie block Big Fun Movies. The block will debut on January 2 with three back-to-back family-oriented films.
