MTV Networks International has forged Latin American broadcast deals for its live-action tween series True Jackson VP, which follows the fortunes of 15-year-old fashionista True Jackson.
TV station UCV TV in Chile has picked up the first season of the program, while Monte Carlo TV in Uruguay has debuted episodes 100 to 125. The new audiences join those in Mexico who have been watching the series on Televisa this year.
Costa Rica’s TeleTica has added episodes 114 to 125 from season one and episodes 201 to 210 from season two to its existing programming.
And Venezuela’s Venevision and Ecuador’s Teleamazonas will air the series as part of newly signed Nickelodeon branded block deals.
