Toronto, Canada-based Portfolio International has sold preschool animated series The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That! to Disney Channel Spain, Norway’s public broadcaster NRK, Finland’s MTV Oy and Al Jazeera’s Arabic channel and Canadian French-language children’s channel Yoopa.

The series, which launched this summer on Treehouse in Canada and PBS Kids in the US, is voiced by actor Martin Short and focuses on scientific exploration and discovery. The series is produced by Portfolio Entertainment and Collingwood O’Hare Productions, in association with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Random House Children’s Entertainment, Treehouse and PBS Kids.

It is also scheduled to air on CiTV (UK), HOP! (Israel) and Disney Channels in over 40 territories and is licensed for home entertainment distribution by Roadshow Entertainment for Australia & New Zealand.
