Mumbai, India-based entertainment agency Dream Theatre has snapped up territory licensing and merchandising rights for HIT preschool brands Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder across India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Both properties already air on Cartoon Network India, which also has exclusive feeds covering Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and the Madives in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
Dream Theatre will launch products across apparel, stationery, bags and luggage and back-to-school, which will be available in leading chain stores and kids and toy stores across India.
