Animation prodco 41 Entertainment has inked a number of licensing agreements for the upcoming HeathCliff – Bad Kitty film.
Broadcast and home entertainment rights to the 2011 film have been granted to Morningstar in Canada, Swen Entertainment in Brazil and Televix in Latin America. The parties have also been granted the option to acquire the HeathCliff TV series (52 x 13-minutes), which is slated for a fall 2012 delivery.
41e will be delivering the film this fall in English, Castilian and Latin Spanish, Italian, German, French and Brazilian Portuguese. The film is produced by L.A.-based Magic Lantern Studios.
41e says it has some additional major deals in final stages of negotiations to acquire the film and secure an option on the series, which will be announced soon.
