Toei Animation’s Japanese anime property Sailor Moon is making a European comeback with Plus Licens serving as the brand’s licensing agent for the region.

Plus Licens repped Sailor Moon during the brand’s heyday in the mid-1990s and, with a new style guide now in tow, the licensing company is taking on merchandising and publishing rights – excluding the original manga – as well as television and DVD rights in Nordic European countries and in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Sailor Moon anime series originally consisted of 200 episodes produced byToei Animation in co-operation with TV Asahi and first launched on Japanese television in 1992.
