BBC Worldwide has appointed Alice Hughes to the newly-created position of formats acquisitions manager.
Reporting to Matt Paice, EVP of international production, Hughes will be charged with fostering new relationships with independent producers and rights holders internationally and developing formats and concepts for BBC Worldwide’s production network and format licensing.
Most recently, Hughes was senior sales executive at BBC Worldwide, where she was responsible for sales of formats into EMEA. Prior to that, she worked as a sales executive for Eyeworks and in worldwide production at FremantleMedia.
