Karl Woolley has been named MD of Impossible Kids, the children’s production arm of UK-based Impossible Pictures. Woolley hails from a previous stint as MD of Tell-Tale Productions, and, more recently, he worked with Disney UK, Prism Entertainment, Lion Television, Red Planet Films, DC Thomson, Maggie and Rose and Walker Books.
In his new role, Woolley will take Impossible Kids’ slate of children’s and animated titles to broadcast and beyond in key territories around the world. The company’s first series, Buzz & Tell, is currently running on CBeebies and the team is now producing Fleabag Monkeyface (52 x 11-minutes) in conjunction with Walker Productions and Sparky Animation Singapore for CITV.
