Universal Pictures International Entertainment has promoted Jim Batchelor to MD, Universal Pictures Australia and New Zealand, reporting to president of UPIE Eddie Cunningham.
In leading the team in Australia, Batchelor will draw on his previous role as sales director for Universal Pictures UK, which he held since 2008.
Batchelor will relocate to Sydney, Australia this month and replaces Liz Van Hooven, who has decided not to return after a second maternity leave.
