Second season of Jungle Book swings into gear

India-based prodco DQ Entertainment is set to co-produce a second season of 3-D animated series The Jungle Book with Germany's ZDF Enterprises.

India-based prodco DQ Entertainment is set to co-produce a second season of 3-D animated series The Jungle Book with Germany’s ZDF Enterprises.

ZDF will distribute the 52 x 11-minute series in more than 60 countries throughout Europe and Latin America. The second season will also be followed by a TV movie special, a Christmas special, a Halloween special and other spin-offs.

The first season has aired in more than 160 counties on networks including BBC (UK), TF1 (France), ABC (Australia), TVO (Canada), ZDF (Germany), JCCTV (Middle East), Noga TV (Israel), Channel B (Indonesia) and EBS (Korea). It will also be aired on multiple Disney channels throughout the world.
