CBeebies has ordered up a third season of Chuggington from series’ creator Ludorum.
The new 26 x 10-minute episodes of the preschool series will begin airing on the BBC-owned channel in early 2012.
CBeebies has also ordered an additional 13 episodes of the Chuggington mini-series, Badge Quest.
Chuggington made its UK debut in September 2008 on BBC TWO’s CBeebies block and launched on the CBeebies Channel in January 2009. The series has now sold to more than 178 countries around the world and Ludorum has appointed more than 180 global licensees to date.
