Cardiff, Wales-based media company Calon has licensed the rights from HarperCollins Publishers to develop an animated TV series based on the Lettice children’s books by Mandy Stanley.
The agreement was facilitated for HarperCollins Publishers by Merchantwise, an Australian branding and licensing agency, which will also represent the property’s local licensing and merchandising interests.
Lettice, the little rabbit with big dreams, is the latest character to join Calon’s portfolio. The company has already started to show its initial proposals for a 52 x 10-minute series to broadcasters in the UK and Europe.
