HarperCollins Children’s Books UK has acquired the UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) to Kathryn Littlewood’s new trilogy for girls entitled The Bliss Bakery.
The trilogy is being touted as a young Chocolat for tween girls and uses the Bliss family cookbook as the focal point for stories surrounding magic, adventure and family. When 11-year-old Rose Bliss and her three siblings are left in charge of the family bakery, one mishap follows another until the town of Calamity Falls turns to chaos.
The first book, Bliss, is set to be published next spring.
