DISH Network is introducing a Mandarin-language BabyTV channel to its US pay-TV subscribers.
BabyTV, which has been a subsidiary of FOX International Channels since 2007 and currently airs in more than 90 countries globally, was also launched earlier this month in Spanish on DISH Network’s DishLATINO Clásico package.
BabyTV Mandarin will now be integrated into DISH’s Chinese Basic Pack. The commercial-free network will feature 100% original short-form episodes that explore early learning themes with an emphasis on parent-child interaction. Signature programming includes Charlie & The Numbers, Tulli, Oliver Discovers, Pim & Pimba and First Baby Songs. Content will also be available via VOD, mobile and broadband offerings.
