New talent tapped at Nickelodeon and MTVNI

Viacom-owned Nickelodeon Consumer Products International and MTV Networks International have made a series of appointments to their consumer products, retail and sales teams.

Viacom-owned Nickelodeon Consumer Products International and MTV Networks International have made a series of appointments to their consumer products, retail and sales teams.

The most recent appointment is Tanya Visano to the newly created role of senior director of Nickelodeon Consumer Products Canada. The former Mega Brands sales exec has responsibility for the strategic development of agency, licensee and retailer relationships. Based in Toronto, she will be responsible for driving the licensing and merchandising business through day-to-day collaboration with Nickelodeon’s exclusive licensing agent in the territory, Studio Licensing. Canadian licensing programs are currently in the works for Victorious, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Winx Club.

In London, NCPI is bolstering its retail operation with Mark Kingston taking on the newly created position of VP of Europe licensing, retail sales and trade marketing. Additionally, Jason Easy has been named senior retail manager for NCP in the UK and Jeremy Poreca as director of International Retail Development.

Meanwhile, at MTV Networks International Lauren Marriott has been named director of programme sales, North, where she will provide sales and management leadership across the Northern region of Europe, with an emphasis on program sales, channel blocks and developing local formats. Based out of London, Marriott is being promoted from sales manager of international programme sales, where she was responsible for sales across the MTVNI portfolio in Northern Europe.
