Canadian-born children’s factual series Making Stuff, which teaches kids about the makings of everyday objects, has been sold by 9 Story Entertainment to global broadcasters.

As a result, the Loten Media-produced live-action series will head to SIC (Portugal), Noga (Israel), Al Jazeera (Middle East) and Bonambridge Media (Malayasia & Brunei).

Making Stuff premiered this past fall in Canada on TVO as well as on TFO (in French language) and on Knowledge Network.   The 52 x 5-minute series follows the adventures of Gears, an animated host made out of spare parts from the factory floor. The series is shot in HD in real factories, food plants and wherever items such as gelato, chocolate, teddy bears, kayaks, jigsaw puzzles and model trains are made.
