Canadian prodco and distributor Portfolio International has acquired kids shorts series Jobi’s Room from Brazil’s 2D Lab.
The company will be kicking off worldwide sales in Cannes next month at MIPTV for the 52 x one-minute graphic-style series revolves around the titular 10-year-old character, his talking frog friend and their ensuing imaginary adventures, all within the confines of Jobi’s bedroom. It’s aimed at kids six to 11.
MIPTV runs from April 4 to 7 in Cannes, France.
