Former Walker Books exec Ozen Kazim is joining Shine Group as international licensing manager.
Kazim will report to the media company’s recently appointed global brand manager, Lori Heiss, who joined in January to extend and exploit strategy for international brands such as MasterChef.
Kazim’s responsibilities will include the creation of strategic brand plans and guidelines, negotiating new licensing deals across territories and identifying partners for new categories.
Kazim was most recently licensing manager across UK publishing house Walker Books and Rocket Licensing, an agency whose clients include DreamWorks Puss in Boots movie, Atari, Dangerous Books for Boys and Hornby’s Scalextric. Prior to that, she spent six years at Target Entertainment in roles including category/territory manager and licensing executive.
