Turner turns to Singapore for animation development

For the first time, Turner Broadcasting, Singapore's Media Development Authority (MDA) and Scrawl Studios are joining forces to develop, produce and distribute content for Turner-owned Cartoon Network across the Asia-Pacific region.

For the first time, Turner Broadcasting, Singapore’s Media Development Authority (MDA) and Scrawl Studios are joining forces to develop, produce and distribute content for Turner-owned Cartoon Network across the Asia-Pacific region.

Turner is tapping into Scrawl’s development slate with first look rights for original animated comedy and adventure genres.

Given Cartoon Network’s brand extension beyond TV, Turner will take a multi-platform approach to content development through utilizing licensing and merchandise, interactive and mobile, and syndication avenues.
