Robin Hood gets enriched with stereoscopic 3D

A new Robin Hood-inspired television series is in the works thanks to an agreement between India-based production company DQE and France’s Method Animation.

The stereoscopic 3D series entitled Robin Hood – Mischief in Sherwood will target kids ages six to nine and will comprise of 52 episodes each 11 minutes in length.  The series will follow the adventures of 10-year-old Robin Hood and his friends.

DQE and Method Animation have collaborated in the past on such series as Ironman, Little Prince, Little Nick, Skyland, Peterpan and, more recently, on the 3D stereoscopic feature film The Prodigies.
