INplay, a Canadian conference that connects kids’ creative industries with insights and opportunities in the interactive space, has revealed its speaker lineup for this year’s event taking place on May 17 and 18 in Toronto.
The second annual conference will examine the children’s interactive market through three major streams: creativity and content, business, and research and e-learning.
Speakers include Warren Buckleitner, editor of Children’s Technology Review; Gever Tulley, co-founder of Brightwork, TED speaker and author of Fifty Dangerous Things (You Should Let Your Children Do); Me To We chief operations director Russ McLeod; BBC Children’s series producer Rupert Harris; Julie Sun, senior director of digital marketing at Nickelodeon; and David Merrill, president and co-founder of Sifteo.
Session titles include I <3 / H8 Transmedia, Cross Merchandising – The Chicken or the Egg? and Bye Bye Textbooks, Hello Learning by Playing.
This year will also feature a Canadian Interactive Showcase presented by the Canada Media Fund that will provide companies with a chance to share their interactive project, product or service with an audience of investors, potential partners and peers.
