Random House Children’s Books and Dr. Seuss Enterprises’ annual Oh, the Places You’ll Go! college scholarship has awarded Tiffany Wu, an Illinois high school senior, US$10,000 toward her post-secondary education at Northwestern University.
Random House received nearly 10,000 entries for the scholarship, which was established in 2010 in light of the 20th anniversary of Dr. Seuss’s perennial bestseller. The winner was selected by a panel of judges, including representatives from Random House and Dr. Seuss Enterprises.
Published in 1990, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! has sold more than 10 million copies.
