HarperCollins Children’s Books UK has signed a further three-book deal with English comedian, writer and actor David Walliams that will see his novels published through 2014.
Walliams made his foray into the children’s book world in 2008 with The Boy in the Dress followed by Mr. Stink in 2009 and Billionaire Boy in 2010.
His next novel, Gangsta Granny, is due to be published this November and will stay true to his children’s writing style of blending prejudice and acceptance with silly words. The new deal for world rights will see the first of the next three books published in 2012.
