Zinkia signs a raft of new Pocoyo deals in South America

Madrid, Spain-based Zinkia Entertainment has appointed a slew of new licensing agents and added broadcast partners for the children's brand Pocoyo.

Madrid, Spain-based Zinkia Entertainment has appointed a slew of new licensing agents and added broadcast partners for children’s brand Pocoyo.

The company has inked new multi-territory, free-to-broadcast deals with Televideo (Albavision) for Peru, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Paraguay and Argentina. The deals bolster Pocoyo‘s carriage in the region that currently includes Canal 13 (Chile), Canal (Columbia), Ecuador TV, Canal 5 (Mexico) and Tves (Venezuela).

Consumer products wise, Zinkia has appointed new third-party licensing agents IMC International Merchandising Consultants for Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay; BLG Brand and Licensing for Brazil; Doce & Friends for Chile; and Andelo for Peru.

Elite Global has snatched up rights for distribution of toys, including plush in Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and the Caribbean Islands.
