French production house Moonscoop is merging its TV sales and consumer products divisions into one department that will handle all rights exploitation across TV, consumer products, VOD, online and interactive.
The new combined department is headed by Lionel Marty, who is now responsible for the coordination of worldwide TV distribution and licensing & merchandising, while David di Lorenzo now leads licensing, home entertainment, VOD and new media for North and Latin America from Moonscoop’s LA office. In the company’s Paris headquarters, Brigitte Legendre-Benloulou now heads up all Moonscoop’s Western European licensing operations, working with Sebastien Fillion.
The reorganization is an effort to create more synergy between broadcast, merchandising and ancillary areas against the backdrop of a 360-degree global kids’ entertainment business.
