Max & Ruby hits US toy market

Corus Entertainment-owned Nelvana Enterprises is bringing its bunny-themed brand Max & Ruby to the US toy market with the help of new master toy partner Fisher-Price.

Fisher-Price has developed a full range of toys that includes plush, playsets and bath toys that are expected to hit retail in spring 2012 with a full launch in fall 2012.

Max & Ruby continues to be a popular book series and animated TV program for preschoolers. More than three million Max & Ruby books from author and illustrator Rosemary Wells have been sold to date and the TV series pulls in top ratings on Nickelodeon in the US. Nelvana recently announced the production of 26 new episodes in association with Chorion.
