Italian media company Atlantyca Entertainment has forged new sales for its flagship kids’ television series, Geronimo Stilton.

Channel One Russia Worldwide has licensed Geronimo Stilton seasons one and two (52 x 23 minutes) for the new season that traditionally starts in mid-September 2011 to premiere on the new 24-hour children’s channel, Carousel. The deal includes Russian-language broadcast rights for Pay TV and Free TV, exclusive pay-TV rights in former USSR countries and non-exclusive pay-TV rights worldwide.

Also on board for a September 2011 premiere is LRT, Lithuania’s public broadcaster, which has licensed the first two seasons of Geronimo Stilton.

Additional sales include an agreement with Convergent Media to distribute DVDs in Romania through newspaper publisher Gazeta Sportulilor beginning in 2012.
