Sesame Street will launch its 42nd season on PBS Kids on September 26 with a new bunch of eps focused on a STEM curriculum – in other words, lots of science, technology, engineering and math learning.

The new episodes are designed to approach STEM education as an integrated discipline through the process of scientific inquiry, rather than individual domains, allowing children to build strong cognitive reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Other season highlights include original songs and street stories; a brand-new segment called Murray’s Science Experiments; new Super Grover 2.0 stories and new Abby’s Flying Fairy School animations.

In terms of celebrity guest stars, this season’s roster is chock-a-block, with the likes of Nicole Kidman, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Mila Kunis and Emma Stone joining Elmo and co.
