Canada’s Skywriter Media and Entertainment has taken another step into the eBook world by launching an interactive version of the Norbert Nipkin kids book series on the iPad.

The eReading division of Skywriter Media & Entertainment Group worked with Robert McConnell, the author of the Norbet Nipkin kids books, to develop the interactive story app.

McConnell narrates the eBook, and Steve Pilcher, the original illustrator of the Norbet Nipkin series, provides new works of art and animation to complement the original paintings.

The digital product portrays an unlikely friendship between Norbert, a young nipkin, and Grog, a young giant zlog.

To develop and produce the iPad app, Skywriter licensed the Norbert Nipkin series.The eBook producer intends to release the Norbert Nipkin series on other platforms in the coming months. Skywriter also plans to release another four additional installments of the Norbert Nipkin book franchise on the iPad
