PBS is hoping to feed kids’ brain power with a new back-to-school initiative based around promoting healthy eating and active play.

The PBS Kids Eat Smart for a Great Start campaign will include themed television programming, online content and partnerships with Allrecipes.com and Produce for Kids. All resources are now available on PBSPARENTS.org/eatsmart. Content aimed at parents will revolve around health and nutrition while kids can play educational games and watch related clips and episodes starting in September.

On-air, series such as Curious George, Sid the Science Kid and Sesame Street will encourage kids to get moving and to learn about healthy eating.
