Eight-month-old London-based prodco Hoho Entertainment is heading into pre-production on its first animated pre-school project, Cloudbabies. The 52 x 10-minute series has been acquired by CBeebies and is set to air in 2012.
Cloudbabies is about four childlike characters, Baba Pink, Baba Blue, Baba Yellow and Baba Green whose job it is to look after the sky and their sky friends, Sun, Moon, Rainbow, Fuffa Cloud and Little Star. They live together with Bobo White, a mischievous little imp, in a house on a big fluffy cloud. Every morning, they jump on their Skyhorsies and begin their day’s work.
The series was created by art director, Bridget Appleby, and will be animated in CGI by Manchester based Studio Liddell, who are also a co-production partner on the series.
