Turner EMEA acquires LazyTown brand

Earmarked as a landmark property for UK preschool channel Cartoonito and its branded program blocks that launched across EMEA on September 5, Turner Broadcasting has acquired the LazyTown brand from owner Latibaer. Sources say Turner paid roughly 12 million GBP (US$19.25 million) for the operation.
