Toronto, Canada-based Nelvana has signed a deal that will bring its animated comedy series Scaredy Squirrel to Disney Channel and Disney XD across the globe.
The broadcast deal includes Disney-affiliated channels in France, Spain, Benelux, Germany, Greece, Turkey, CEE, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa and Japan.
Scaredy Squirrel is based on the children’s book series of the same name by author Mélanie Watt about the adventures of a smart but obsessive-compulsive rodent.
