HarperCollins UK has bolstered its license for Hello Kitty Publishing to now include digital platforms and learning titles.
The new deal sees a continuation of younger-skewing products, which include sticker, activity and doodle books, as well as the tween fashion and friendship guides. New digital products are now in the works and publishing will also extend into Hello Kitty learning titles with a range of Collins dictionaries.
Since HarperCollins’ first Hello Kitty titles appeared in 2009, the property has become the fastest-growing girls publishing brand in the UK, with sales up 300% this year against 2010 figures.
