Harry Potter may be out of theaters but the boy wizard is starring in a pop-up shop housed within London’s Harrods department store. Warner Bros. has opened the 4,000 square-foot Harry Potter Shop at Harrods and will run the retail space through January 2012.
The product range includes prop replicas and collectibles from The Noble Collection and Tonner Doll, toys and games from LEGO, TOMY, Hasbro and Winning Moves, a collection of wizard costumes from Rubies, and the LEGO Harry Potter video games..
Also on display are original props and costumes from the films, including the sword of Gryffindor, broomsticks, Hogwarts school uniforms and the Elder Wand.
Warner Bros. is also providing fans with a preview of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter in advance of the attraction’s official opening in March 2012. Additional promotional opportunities will be announced via the Harry Potter UK Facebook page, which has garnered more than 1.4 million fans.
