It looks like Bert and Ernie are showing drivers exactly how to get to Sesame Street thanks to new GPS recordings from Locutio Voice Technologies.

The company has teamed with Sesame Workshop to release the original voices of Bert and Ernie for TomTom and Garmin personal navigation devices in English-speaking territories and in select countries worldwide.

The Muppet duo speak together to provide directions on the GPS navigational product. Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch will follow on the Garmin platform later this month, just in time for the holidays.

Locutio Voice Technologies develops branded voice content for in-car and mobile phone-based GPS. The company has brought the vocals of Homer Simpson, Bugs Bunny and Darth Vader, among others, to these devices through similar licensing agreements.
