Leomil to make Angry Birds fly across Europe

Rovio, the Finnish company behind the hugely popular Angry Birds app and consumer products brand, has granted a pan-Euro footwear and apparel license to Leomil, a well-known footwear and fashion licensee in the territory.

Rovio, the Finnish company behind the hugely popular Angry Birds app and consumer products brand, has granted a pan-Euro footwear and apparel license to Leomil, a well-known footwear and fashion licensee in the territory.

Capitalizing on growing consumer demand for Angry Birds merchandise, the two companies inked a five-year agreement, and Rovio has plans to bring more products to market.

Since its launch in 2009, different versions of the Angry Birds app have been downloaded more than 500 million times across platforms including iOS, Mac, Android and Windows PC.
