Andrew Kerr heads to Nelvana

Industry veteran Andrew Kerr has been named head of consumer products, the Americas and Australasia for Corus Entertainment's Toronto-based Nelvana Enterprises.

Industry veteran Andrew Kerr has been named head of consumer products, the Americas and Australasia for Corus Entertainment’s Toronto-based Nelvana Enterprises.

Kerr, who was previously EVP of consumer products and marketing international with London, UK-based Entertainment Rights/Classic Media, will report to Nelvana’s managing director Colin Bohm and assume strategy, brand management and development oversight for Nelvana properties including Beyblade, Babar, Franklin and Max & Ruby.

He will also oversee worldwide home entertainment and consumer product licensing in the Americas and Australasia.

Prior to his role at Entertainment Rights/Classic Media, Kerr served as EVP of global licensing and marketing at Ragdoll, where he oversaw management of the Teletubbies brand and created brand strategies for In the Night Garden.

Kerr will begin his new position at Nelvana Enterprises’ Toronto offices at Corus Quay early this year.
