Tapping into the augmented reality trend, Green Bay, Wisconsin-based WonderWorkz Publishing, with Believe Animation and Green Bay’s Balance Studios, has brought Rocks In My Socks, a children’s book app with augmented reality targeting kids ages four to seven, to the App Store for the iPad2, iPhone, and iPod 4th Gen – iOS5.

The book follows Gracie, a pink triceratops who loves to wear pink and white striped socks, as she learns about acceptance through her journeys.

The app features 13 activities that can be played manually with colors, markers, or pencils and eight of the games use augmented reality technology with animation, sound, and game play.
