Expanding on its digital outreach initiatives, music-based transmedia brand Melody Street has introduced a new interactive video and free mobile app for kids, Mozart Interactive.

Based on animated characters Val Violin, Heidi Horn, Timmy Trumpet, Febe Flute and 10-year-old host Ethan Bortnick, from the Melody Street website, the video features musical instruments that come to life and is available here, while the free mobile app for iPad, iTouch and iPhone will launch in February.

Mozart Interactive offers lessons in music orchestration and allows kids to choose or conduct different ways for the stories to unfold. It features three different characters, four sections of the famous Mozart piece, “Rondo Alla Turca,” from which to choose, and kids can create a total of 81 saveable and shareable videos.

Other aspects of Melody Street’s digital initiatives include The House on Melody Street eBook, a VOD Show, the ICAF online music contest, and The Melody Street Show, a new live-action and CGI-animated musical-variety series.
