FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has made a deal with independent app developer Lima Sky to acquire the global licensing rights to Doodle Jump, a top 25 iPhone app title.

FME aims to find partners in consumer products, live events, and publishing and debuted the brand at London Toy Fair this week.

The app features a simple game play, where players must bounce Doodle the Doodler up a series of platforms by tilting their phone to avoid monsters, UFOs and black holes.

Launched in 2009, Doodle Jump has been downloaded more than 20 million times and is a top 10 game in 84 countries.

The deal falls in line with FME’s strategy to work with new and established non-TV brands. It also currently reps Rebecca Bonbon worldwide (excluding Japan and Korea) on behalf of Crown Creative, Sonic the Hedgehog across Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe, and in North America it reps beach culture and lifestyle brand Endless Summer and Mexican family board game Loteria.
