Little Airplane Productions’ preschool series Tobi! (four x four minutes) continues to reach more markets with new sales secured by Paris-based awol animation, the series’ third-party distributor.

Broadcasters picking up the series include Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (terrestrial TV rights in Iceland), Irib Iran (Persian language rights), and Malaysia’s Alhijrah Media Corporation (English and Bahasa Malaysia rights).

The hand-drawn series, which stars a little boy named Tobi who wants to make his a world a better place to live in, premiered in March 2011 on Treehouse in Canada and Nickelodeon Australia as part of UNICEF’s International Children’s Day of Broadcasting. The series addresses issues such as pollution, homelessness and endangered species through poems geared to educate and entertain.

The new sales add to the show’s growing list of broadcasters which also includes YLE (Finland), SVT (Sweden), NRK (Norway), and Nickelodeon Asia.
