Mind Candy scores Moshi Monsters licensees

UK-based Mind Candy, the company behind the 60 million-strong Moshi Monsters online community for kids, has inked a raft of apparel and accessories deals for the brand to be introduced for the first time ever in North America this year.

UK-based Mind Candy, the company behind the 60 million-strong Moshi Monsters online community for kids, has inked a raft of apparel and accessories deals for the brand to be introduced for the first time ever in North America this year.

On board with products rolling out beginning in early 2012 are Silvergoose (hair accessories and jewelry for US and Canada), High Point Designs (hosiery, US and Canada), Disguise (costumes, US and Canada), Accessory Innovations (bags, backpacks, US), Freeze (fashion tees, US), Berkshire (rain gear, hats, US), M Hidary (sportswear, US), Saramax (sleepwear, US), Black & White (footwear, Canada), Calego (rainwear, Canada), and NTD (sportswear, outerwear, sleepwear and intimates, master apparel licensee, Canada).

The deals follow on the heels of recent L&M deals that will bring Moshi Monsters toys, games and books to the US market. The brand also recently launched into the music business with the launch of the Moshi Music record label.
