France-based 3D animation company Sparx (Igor) has named industry veteran Frederick Lissau as its director of production for its Vietnam Studios.
Lissau, most recently the senior cinematics producer at Sony Computer Entertainment America, has more than 15 years of animation production experience with companies including Disney Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Sony Imageworks, and Universal Studios.
His credits include the feature films Hercules, Prince of Egypt, El Dorado, Open Season, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Tale of Despereaux.
Sparx, which was recently acquired by the Virtuos Group, has production resources in Saigon, Shanghai and Chengdu.
