Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has signed a six-year deal that will see six of its channels, including Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon HD, made available on satellite platform Digiturk, which covers the Turkish market.

Nickelodeon will launch on March 1 and the preschool channel Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon HD are scheduled to launch in the coming months. MTV and MTV Live HD also have a March 1 broadcast launch date.

As part of the new deal, Digiturk will also become VIMN’s advertising sales partner and be responsible for local advertising deals for MTV and Nickelodeon in the market.

The news comes hot on the heels of Viacom launching Nick Jr. in Israel.
