Timoon rebrands as Genao Productions

Timoon Animation, a four-year-old subsidiary of French broadcaster Lagardère Entertainment, is being rebranded as Genao Productions to reflect its growing variety of business activities.

Timoon Animation, a four-year-old subsidiary of French broadcaster Lagardère Entertainment, is being rebranded as Genao Productions to reflect its growing variety of business activities.

The re-brand is aimed at continuing the studio’s animation and expanding its activities to include all genres for young people including animation, fiction, and unscripted programs. Directors Sandrine Nguyen and Boris Hertzog say they want to be able to co-produce scripted and non-scripted programming targeted at international audiences to grow Genao into a driving force in kids production.

Up until now Timoon has produced six series, a total of 63 hours of animation, which have been broadcast on networks across France
