In a new five-year deal, Milan, Italy-based Atlantyca Entertainment has awarded the rights to preschool book series La Pimpa to China Publishing House of Electronics Industry (PHEI).
The agreement will see PHEI publish 24 titles in the La Pimpa book series to be distributed throughout Mainland China.
The book series, about a red-spotted puppy with a childlike innocence, was created by Italian cartoonist Francesco Tullio Altan and features stories, games, activities, and books with accompanying DVDs. The brand has also expanded into a monthly magazine and interactive game apps for the iPad.
