Futurikon signs new TV deals for Miniscule

Paris, France-based prodco Futurikon has finalized a raft of broadcasting deals for the second season of its CG/live-action kids and family series Minuscule, The Private Life of Insects ( 71 x five minutes).

Paris, France-based prodco Futurikon has finalized a raft of broadcasting deals for the second season of its CG/live-action kids and family series Minuscule, The Private Life of Insects ( 71 x five minutes).

Broadcasters now on-board include NHK (Japan), ABC1 (Australia), Nickelodeon (Australia, India), Rai Yoyo (Italy), SVT (Sweden), DR-TV (Denmark), YLE (Finland), Estonia TV (Estonia), Barrandov TV (Czech Republic), 2×2 (Russia), MNCTV (Indonesia) and Disney Channel (Korea).

Season two is also set to air on NHK Educational (Japan) from April 2012 and has aired on France 5 since June 2011.

The series, produced in association with France Télévisions, features no dialogue and offers humorous takes on the lives of insects. Season one has been sold into more than 80 countries.
